Sweat/Sodium Loss Testing


Sweat and sodium testing with the HDrop sensor gives athletes precise, personalised data on how much fluid and sodium they lose during training and racing. Instead of guessing your hydration needs, we measure your sweat rate and electrolyte loss to create a customised hydration and sodium strategy for trail running, ultra marathons, multisport, and endurance cycling.

Proper sodium balance helps prevent cramps, nausea, gut issues, and performance decline—especially in hot, long, or high-intensity events. Using HDrop, we analyse your sweat composition and provide clear race-day recommendations so you can fuel, hydrate, and perform with confidence. Race Day Planning and Logisitcs

Race day success isn’t determined by fitness alone—smart planning, strategic nutrition, and informed decision-making make all the difference. Our consultation sessions provide personalised guidance for trail running, ultra marathons, multisport, and endurance cycling events.

We develop tailored nutrition and hydration strategies for each specific race, ensuring you know exactly how to fuel, hydrate, and manage electrolytes for the demands of the course. We also help with pacing strategy, course planning, aid-station timing, and gear selection, including footwear, packs, layers, and the effective use of poles for technical or mountainous terrain.
